Everyone has the right to live in a great place. More importantly, everyone has the right to contribute to making the place where they already live great.
PROJECT 1
GREEN-GO 2013
INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM CONTEST

ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABLE DESIGN

Architecture, is not just about designing a meaningful and magnificent structure or building, it is also an knowledge and professional which involved in the issue of sustainability. Through the project 1 and the lectures given, I clearly understand that the vital role of architecture plays in this sustainable era. By collecting data and researching through online or book references, I got familiar with the relationship between growth and its impact to the environment surrounding as well as the concept of environmental and ecological sustainability.

From the campaign film, I would like to reveal truth and tell the world the crisis orangutans dealing with at the moment. By compiling and composing the video, I realize making a video is not an easy task; making a good and meaningful video is even harder and challenging. I hope, the video I made can increace the awareness of humankind and let them pay attention to the situation of our valueable ecosystem. Everyone have right to live in a great place, but everyone have responsibility to make our great place better. Wtih our efforts, we can make our world better.

PROJECT 2
APPRECIATING ENVIRONMENT
NOTHING IS CONSIDERED WASTE
SITE VISIT
BANGSAR & SHA ALAM

Wastage is one of the major impact from human civilization to the nature environment. In project 2, we were required to conduct site visit twice to understand and explore how building construction or building design causes pollution and produces wastage to our living context. At the same time, we were needed to interview constructor as well as site manager to get a deeper understanding of how they deal with wastage management and decrease the percentage of waste from every single detail of construction process.

Besides, we also figured out how and why the particular material on site was wasted in some ways. Most of the time, uncaution action and management problems are the crucial factors to cause pollution and wastage. Through Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) of the materials from the natural resource to demolision, we understand that how the materials was used and motified in detail, and base on the LCA, we also discussed about the innovative recycle method to reduce the amount of wastage produce on site.

CREATIVE PRODUCTIONS
REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE

Nothing is considered as waste. By using the construction wastage, everyhing is possible to be made out an unexpected and useful stuff. In my group, by using glass, ceramic tiles, timber, plactics, iron wire and steel, four different ladies' need were interestingly produced. In the process, I understand that you can contribute your effort to save our environment by using waste and generating a creative idea. It was cool and fun.
